Birichino Tasting Room. Santa Cruz, CA
Stripe was approached in 2016 by Birichino Winery to design their new tasting room in downtown Santa Cruz. The word Birichino means, 'mischievous, naughty, impish' in Italian, which lends the Brand a cheeky undertone. The tasting room is in a 1940's building, with great high ceilings and original windows. Birichino has a very intriguing and three dimensional brand, the wine makers are involved in every step of the process. Their branding has an old world feeling, with beautiful antique drawings on every label. Each bottle tells a story. With this as our backdrop, Stripe created an old world feeling tasting room, complete with pewter bar top, wainscoting, barogue old world bar back and green damask wallpaper. The tasting room now reflects the the vision of the winemakers at Birichino and is the perfect place to try their incredible offering.

For Birichino, after back and forth via their Pinterest board, the tasting room design was narrowed to the final option.
